The long-term goal of the initiative group is an increased interest of the citizens of the little Southeast Ukrainian town of Belgorod-Dnestrovskiy in local politics.

With the support of NESEHNUTI, this is the second year that the group stimulates creating a pressure and oversight over the activities of local council by the civil society. This effort will be strengthened also by the campaign “Your Representative”, which strives for the local assembly meetings to be broadcasted and archived on the internet and in that way accessible at any time. An important component of the campaign is pressing the local assembly to take direct responsibility for ensuring the broadcasts.
