The organization Open Borders leads a campaign for more transparent local government in the town of Akhalkalaki in South Georgia. The organization wants the municipal leadership to publish important information on infrastructure projects implemented on the territory of the municipality.

If the campaign succeeds, the town will provide access to details on all running construction, the budgets, dates of beginning and end of the works and other indicators. The information will be presented on the website of the town and in social networks.

Within the campaign, an initiative group of volunteers will be established. The volunteers will complete a course of civic participation for the youth and will take active part in the individual steps of the campaign.
