Fatalities and injuries caused by ignorance of traffic rules occur very often in Abkhazia. Children are the most endangered group. The project has a connection with a public campaign raising awareness towards more secure behavior on the road. The project was aimed to provide knowledge of the traffic rules to the children. The activities included exercising of the rules for children aged 5 to 10 and for the children of second and fifth grade of a chosen school.

The school is situated in the neighborhood of the main Abkhazian thoroughfare that very often deals with the problem of security. The project used attractive forms of education for easier learning: creative activities (thematic drawings by children will be used for a calendar), role playing games, poems, traffic playground etc.
