The goal of the Fact-Checking project was to launch a website that would be the first in Abkhazia to pilot a fact-checking program of news stories about important social events. Together with the creation of the website, a PR campaign was also conducted simultaneously to promote the importance of fact-checking initiatives in the fight against disinformation spreading in the public space. During the launch of the website, the experience gained during the study stay in the Czech Republic from projects such as Demagog.cz and Manipulatori.cz was actively used.
